SonicBoost requests standard Android system permissions solely to deliver audio enhancement features:

  • Audio Spectrum & Visualizer (RECORD_AUDIO): Used exclusively to calculate real-time frequency spectrum wave visualizations on your screen. We never record, listen to, save, or transmit your voice or microphone audio.
  • Floating Booster Widget (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): Allows the floating mini-booster chat-head to overlay over other apps so you can adjust volume without leaving your games or videos.
  • Background Audio Enhancement (FOREGROUND_SERVICE): Keeps the volume boost and equalizer active while the screen is locked or while multitasking in other apps.
  • Read Music Files (READ_MEDIA_AUDIO / STORAGE): Scans your device storage locally to load your music library into the built-in offline player.
  • Haptic Feedback (VIBRATE): Powers tactile physical vibration ticks when rotating 3D equalizer knobs and volume dials.

🌐 3. Third-Party Services

We may partner with trusted third-party SDKs to provide analytics, advertisements, and secure in-app subscriptions:

  • Google Play Services & Google Play Billing: Handles secure subscription payments.
  • Google AdMob: Serves personalized or non-personalized banner and interstitial advertisements in the free version.
  • Firebase Crashlytics: Collects anonymous crash telemetry to fix bugs and improve performance.
